ok, this is a pretty pointless journal but i want to say this.
Who here was ( or still is ) a fan of "The mighty Morphing Power Rangers"?
I know that back when i was 4 through to about 11 yrs old, i watched Power Rangers religiously. I was always up to date with the show.
I never had the toys or ANY merchandise for them, i really REALLY wanted the action figures and the EPICLY AWESOME Zords but alas, my parents wouldn't buy me any coz they were boys toys. If i had enough money of my own, i would have gotten them myself but being that young, i had only pennys in my money tin
I was watching some clips on youtube ( purely for the zords ) and i couldn't believe have many bitchy comments were made about how it was made and whatever. People...this is a kids show and i'm pretty damn sure that you probably watched it too. I know that back then, i thought the Power Rangers was THE SHIT! Sure it's made with toys and the like but...come on, it's for kids and it was epic.
Obviously i don't watch them now. To be honest i had forgotten they had ever existed until today.
I just had such a rush of memories from this show linking me to my childhood that i was about to burst. I thought that TMMPR were awesome and i was so jealous of everyone who had the toys.
Thinking back on it, the Power Rangers sparked off my love for Mechs, Ziods, Transformers and Giant, walking, fighting, ninja bots of today, and for that, I thank you, the guys who brought TMMPR to our TVs :3
